Bambuuu is a Community Interest Company with one purpose: to end domestic abuse for every woman and girl.
Our aim is to highlight and challenge all forms of gender-related violence against women, empower Survivors to gain confidence and control over their lives; to live free from fear of violence and assert their human rights to justice, equality, and freedom.
Bambuuu is an organisation founded by women of colour, specialising in supporting women of colour. As experts in their field, their mission to to deliver a service that is compassionate and understanding of a Survivor's individual needs.

Marsha is a specialist in domestic abuse, with over 20 years of experience in supporting women and children to live free of domestic abuse and violence.
She has carried out various roles within this sector, including within Refuge, Outreach and Sanctuary Management.

Marsha pioneered the development of the R2C service administered by Juno Women’s Aid; a service that supports women with complex needs such as disabilities.
She is also a qualified trainer, experienced in delivering Domestic Abuse training to the public sector, including the police and the NHS.
Dawn has 25 years experience of working in the social care sector, including an Emergency Accommodation project for women in Nottingham. She is experienced in supporting women at risk of offending, addiction and family breakdown due to domestic abuse.

Dawn has 25 years experience of working in the social care sector, including an Emergency Accommodation project for women in Nottingham. She is experienced in supporting women at risk of offending, addiction and family breakdown due to domestic abuse.
Having qualified as a social worker at 24, Dawn joined the local authority as a Child Protection Social Worker, working with children and families impacted by Domestic and Child Abuse, before moving into her role as Inclusion Worker for a local charity, working with young people who were involved in gangs, crime and drugs.
During her time at Women's Aid, Dawn managed the High-Risk team, working with survivors of domestic abuse. She is experienced and qualified to deliver domestic abuse training to Domestic Abuse practitioners and the wider community.
